Anyone got an empty watercooler bottle lying around? I want to convert one of my cr*ppy vacs into a Wet/dry vac but need a tank, and according to Instructables a watercooler bottle's the best thing to use... :D

Even though I am not a member of the inner sanctum of Vacs and associated derivations of even I know that you need two tanks one for clean water and one for dirty water:-slaphead:rolleyes: Or is the point to leave the carpet soaking wet?:-HoHo

I don't mean like a Vax or Bissel type thing, I meant one that can suck up water or other liquids without it getting into the motor of the vacuum, hence the need for a large watercooler bottle to act as a tank... :D

Depends on what has happened, flooded cellar, puddles by the kitchen door (my problem, well, it's the landlord's really seeing as how it's his house!!!) or just syphoning things.... :D

At this time the best place to get one would be your nearest industrial estate.
Our local electrical shop has a water cooler for the customers.

No point (pint ?) in getting one posted to you.
