Good evening from a wet Mullion Cove Cornwall : )
I have mounted a webcam ( water proofed ) with a led next to it on the back of the dish to display the scale on the diseqc motor.
I have used a USB to cat 5 converter at both ends, but several USB repeaters in line would do the job as well.
It takes a lot of guesswork out of dish pointing and a record can be logged in case the motor looses its memory.
A free program is YAWCAM it works well.
