And the whole page is shifted to the left. So annoying, especially when in Firefox it looks excellent.

In Internet Explorer it looks like a cross-eyed person has made it. :D

It's a CSS template. Can it be modified slightly so it works in Internet Explorer? And what would be making it go to the left?

Sorry I have limited knowledge so please keep it simple. Like I am. Simple. :D

Thanks in advance. :D

Probably need the address so that someone can look at the source code.

Hello

I haven't uploaded it yet. I am working on it in CoffeeCup HTML. When I click on the index.html, it looks fine in Firefox. Dire in IE. :(

IE is well known for being a format wrecker, does the same on a lot of sites.

Looks like I'll have to pick another web template then.

Shame because it looks really professional in Firefox.

IE sucks doesn't it.

Yes it does.

I do have it installed on my Win 7 Partition, but apart from testing it, I can honestly say it has never been used in practice.

Use Firefox most of the time, but am warming to Chrome too.

But when you have a business website, you have to have a web template that is compatible with all browsers.

Which prompts another question.

Why do template makers only make templates that are compatible with one browser, like Firefox and not IE, or Chrome?

Waste of time.

Thanks for your replies. :)

Very true - but it's generally weighted in favour of IE!

I know. That's why I HAVE TO get a web template that is compatible with all browsers, including King of Sucks, IE.

Which version of internet explorer are you using.

There are several free CSS / HTML and flash templates available for downloading.
www.freecsstemplates.org to name one.

The latest one I think. But it's not what I am using. I have to have a website that can be seen by all and doesn't look ridiculous.

Funnily enough I was just looking at that site an hour before coming here today. :)

Yeah, I agree, there are some pretty impressive templates there - all free. I've picked out a few which can be modified to fit in with my website. And the best thing is they appear to work in all browsers.

I'm still annoyed though. The one template I was wanting to use had a slider (images changing) and it looked really cool and professional. But alas, it doesn't work in IE. :(

UPDATE:

I'm gonna get a web designer to do the site for me, for only £75.

It's worth it, for all the p***, farting about I've done. LOL. :D

Thanks for your conerns and replies. :D
