Weird cover versions of well known songs.

Not a cover version but a bit weird...keep your eye on the door...

Apparently there is a version of SBL out there sung by Jan Teigen - a Norwegian famous for scoring nul punts in Eurovision 1978! Sadly (?) I cant find it.....

18 months later & Ive found it at last :-rofl2 :-lmao

And whilst Im assaulting your eardrums with Sugar Baby Love lets have a Czech version by Karel Gott

A German version :-rofl2

And lastly (for now anyway) a French version :-lmao

Oh by the way if 3 minutes of SBL isnt enough for you - how about a 6 minute 12" mix by Paul Da Vinci? (The original falsetto vocalist!)

A cover of the Stones 'Paint it Black' by Israeli Berry Sakharof and the Red Band

Crazy by the Ninette Rose Band

Pink Floyd originally did The Great Gig In The Sky. Rick Wakeman has done quite a creditable cover.

Not many Dire Straits covers in the thread so far - but here is a thrash/death sort of metal version of Sultans of Swing :D

Way back in the dim & distant mists of time when I started this thread (aka November 2011 :D ) we had German rock band Avantasia doing Dancing With Tears In My Eyes. Now Ive found them doing Lay All Your Love On Me
