Weird cover versions of well known songs.

Stardate - 1989. Chris Rea has probably his best known hit The Road To Hell.

6 years later Tom Principato covers it with lots of guitar distorsion

Still on The Road To Hell (the M6 round Birmingham / Walsall!)

2007 - Burning Point did a fab metal cover

I really dont know what to make of this one. Its Robbie William's new xmas tune - but it most definitely samples the Robinson Crusoe tv series theme from the 1960s!

Not really a keeper. Celebrating his Man Friday passed almost three weeks ago

Perhaps next year.

It was on TV a year or so after I was born

Hurdy Gurdy Headbanging anyone??

Brilliant! Amazing sounds.

I'm ashamed to say that although I had heard of a hurdy-gurdy (I'm old enough to remember Donovan's single) I didn't know what one looked like.

If we take a trip to Dinan in the summer (not really recommended as it can be tourist central) there's an older gentleman who busks with a hurdy gurdy in the medieval centre..

Does he do guitar riffs?

Slash in lederhosen??

I thought that was an instruction!
