Weird cover versions of well known songs.

A strange version of Bohemian Rhapsody :

A-Ha reaches North Korea:

Who said music has to be meaningful, earnest and serious? Not this lot. Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain - 'Shaft'. Gets my foot tapping and puts a smile on my face every time :

The Ukes are absolutely brilliant. Yes, Shaft is one of my favourites as well. If you ever get the chance to see them live buy a ticket - you won't be disappointed.

Couldn't get to grips with guitar chords, but would be fun to try the Uke.

The UOGB are colloquially known as "The Ukes". This is what I actually meant - sorry.

But still, only four strings so less to go wrong!

I have had a go at one but because the tuning is different, chord shapes are not the same as on a guitar. It also helps if you have skinny narrow fingers. Not as easy as you might think despite having two less strings.

Yes, I read the article this morning (I originally found the video on a US guitar forum I post on). However, I find it difficult to take seriously a Norwegian who plays a heart shaped guitar......

Just seen these two on Deluxe Music. This is a cracking version of 'Smell Likes Teen Spirit'.

Can I make that a brace of Teen Spirits?

I'm going to see these guys next month. When I saw the description - Heavy Metal meets the Bee Gees - I couldn't resist. And only £7.50 per ticket...

I saw these guys live about 18 months ago they do their own versions of every thing from the beatles to ac dc, it was very strange in a good way! i think it was because they did'nt have drums and your expecting to hear them on most of the covers. I would go and see them again.

Better than the original, in every way
