Weird digibox lockup

Hi,
I connected my digbox and it came up working straight away. No problem then? An hour later it gave a no signal error on all channels. The signal strength fluctuates up to 1oo% (as if it is scanning) but there is no lock and no signal quality. I checked the dish (all OK) and connected my box to neighbours dish with same problem. Four days on it is the same by despite not locking I have full up to date epg and date/time.
I tried software update but can't complete.

Sounds like power supply failure, which one is it, the Pace (model?) or Sky HD? Early Thomson Sky HD models are known for this but there is a way to repair it.
 
Model is 1.3Z30E (old as used before sky+ and then HD) I am wondering software rather than supply and received epg so some signal getting into system.
 
If you could flip the box over and look at the label underneath, and tell us the model number, it would help.
A failed power supply will allow loading of the EPG but you get no signal on many or all channels.
 
There is, unfortunately, no power supply repair kit for this model.
Buy a secondhand Pace 430n or 2600CI on e-bay, or a new Amstrad DRX 550.
