I disagree, what is killing football is the no contact culture. Where did the nonsense phrase "there was contact" come from? I am sick of watching games that are spoilt because a ref has booked a player twice for light fouls, surely the award of a free kick is the punishment. Many games are now finishing with players sent off for nothing more than a fractionally late tackle.Yellow cards should be for cynical or persistent fouling. The game would actually improve if the refs started allowing a lot more contact!
Have to agree about the Kevin Nolan tackle though.
