I was going to upgrade my DB 7000 to a 7025, but seeing the price thought I might as well go for a high deff box instead.

It has to be linux and be able to run CCcam
I have narrowed my chioces down.

I like the Kathrine 910, but it`s not CCcam compatable, and has no card reader. But the price is very attractive at around £280

I also like the AB IP box 900/9000 but again not CCcam compatable, and the 9000 is pricey! but a great sat rx`er

My fav so far is the DB800, but I dont like the fact that it looks so small!

Please help me decide
If you use any of the above please let me know what you think.

Hi CrossBones, I'm in the same situation, not sure which box to get, im leaning towards to the DM800 but I've heard there are a few bugs, but there ironing them out fairly quickly?

Ill be interested to know what others think.

Another thing is the support on the DB is excellent, so im going in that direction more and more!;)

I think im going to have to bite the bullet and buy one. The question is where to get one. As you say support is good, and it will grow for 800 as more people get them.

Just make sure that U guys come back here and tell us what they are like. :)

Sure will mate!

Im holding off buying until CCcam can read uk NDS cards on the db 800:cool:

Why do NDS cards not work with the 800?

Thanks Andy

no, hopefully in the next CCcam update:)

CCcam 3.0 is apparently on the brink and will support the 910. the only problems with the 800 is of course the price and mainly it is DVI now although this carries the same HD signals bar sound, i cant help but feel a little ripped off!
