Hi - I have a Bush single channel Freesat receiver, the type you can get for £50 from Argos, which I use with a TV in one room and a Sky+ box that I was given and use in another room also for Freesat.

The Sky+ box is now on the blink. After its been on for a while the picture is replaced by wavy lines across the screen so I need to replace it.

The Bush that I already have is fine but I would really like to be able to record and view at the same time. Can anyone suggest a good value for money dual channel receiver?

Also, I don't have an HD TV- is it something that's worth having?

Thanks

Humax FOXSAT-HDR freesat receiver for pvr functionality. To view Hd programming you'd need an HD ready screen.

Foxsat HDR is a decent product, as stated.

But it was the only Freesat HDR until quite recently - there are now quite a few products that might suit from the functionality point of view, but not necessarily pricewise!

See the right hand column on the linked page for current details and pricing.
