what is a philips CTU900 any use??

Forgive me with this novice question From the old analogue days I have one of these boxes that used to decode TV1000 analogue, is it of any use now with digital receivers or shall I bin it
 
If it is a D2MAC decoder, then it is probably destined for the tip, that's exact;y where mine is. :)
