I've got the channels uploaded to the Edision, I need to find the rest of the config for these channels now to see if I can get them working...

Kingofsat is my go-to for the PIDs!
 
Just a quick update, I've found what you can and can't change in Dreambox Edit.
Still working on it and will post back shortly.
 
I'm sure this is all correct, unless PIDS etc have changed?
I just can't get it to display a picture or sound...

Rest assured Staff monitor such discussions and will make a judgement as to whether things go too far.

Any concerns should be raised by using the Report facility or by contacting a Staff Member, and not by Posting on Forum.

In a couple of hours, I shall tidy up recent Posts in order to restore continuity.
 
Some of this might be better suited in the Edision thread, so may start a new one there with my progress.
TL;DR - Doesn't currently work with the Edision Primo IP S2/Octagon SX88
 
Hi. I have had success with Dreambox edit and Primo but still no picture. The transponder scan, even showing good level and quality, does not find channels.PID.webpPID2.webp
 
Those channels are BISS encrypted, and require some extra work, to scan in and view, especially on Enigma 2 receivers.

It still won't work on these boxes.
 
I know they can be made to work on VU+, and some other Enigma 2, receivers, but I think you have to edit, or replace, the lamedb file, and do a few other things.
I have no idea regarding an Edision receiver, but I see, by the posts, that RustySpoons seems to have tried everything.
I seem to recall the old Technomate receivers can handle them quite easily, without to much work, but I can't recall the specific models.

They used to be something to do with Halloween, but the last time I saw one was three years or so back.
