What is humbox and

Hello,

I was reading on some German forums about something called Humbox and about some settings that can be changed with an editor for the Humax. I have also seen that several people uploaded to that forum their own settings projects for the Humax.
Anybody could give me a clue on what exactly these settings were and what is a Humbox?
I read through the Faq, but I didn't get any wiser on this issue (although it did help me a lot on getting started with the new hobby).
