- Deep in the Boonies in the central Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
Could be, but the number of pins on the black connector would tell us a lot, 15 could be video (VGA), 9 could be data (DB9 RS-232).
If 9 then it could be a LAN (CAT5 input) to serial dongle to hook up a receiver to the internet, we get a lot of those things running around here.
