Well I'm not playing it as such but I am listening to the Proms ATM.

We tried a few this year and so far a lot have been a bit turgid for our tastes but this evening's Bolero by Ravel was excellent. Also John Wilson, with music from the Gershwins last week, and the tribute to David Bowie a few weeks ago were well worth listening to.

A popular classics guy me.

Bolero was great. Rachmaninov was OK but went on for too long really.

But the third item was so discordant that it sounded like an accident in a china plate factory. Have resorted to watching Tim 'n' Pru barging around Venice on the PVR.
