What next any ideas

My Satellite Setup
laptop windows xp, wireless 3g router, dreambox 500s, gemini image.
My Location
alicante spain.
Ok im connected to internet with dcc all green lights. New box with gemini image scanned into nilesat with 483 channelssome encrypted some not.
PS i live southern spain
Being a beginer where should i start to get the best out of my dreambox.
I obviously want more good channels but what do i need to do now.
Ive read about cccam etc but what would it do for me and can i install it through dcc. Ive already downloaded it and unziped it to my pc it appears to have eight parts to it when unziped but dont know what to do with them.
Any help or ideas would be welcomed.:confused::confused::confused:
 
The easiest way to install CCcam is from the blue panel:

blue panel > addons > download > cams

Then install a key updater e.g. Hacksat (don't install satan).

This will allow you to see any channels that there are known keys for and that you can see. You can also consider buying a subscription card as CCcam will read lots of sub cards.

Do you have a motorised dish?
 
i dont have a motorised dish but im going to try what you sugested with the blue panel right now. I will let you know how it goes shortly. Im very new to this so it might take me a while.
 
when i go to addons > download What i have is
download (gemini-server)
download (myserver)
all i get then is cant resolve hostnamethen the URL.
Whats up i dont understand??
 
I think the server is down as I get an xml error as well.

You can download it from i-have-a-dreambox.com and do a manual install.
 
ive just used flash fxp to transfer cccam to my temp folder sorry to be a pain but i feel im starting to get somewhere could you just tell me the next procedure to install.
PS its taken me more than a week to get to here ie from 3g wirelles router etc i think i can see the light at the end of the tunnel
