Gentlemen your help would be nice . my echostar AD3000ip has died . what would you recomend i go out and buy please . i ve a lenson heath 1 metre H2H mount 12" superjack inviacom 0.3db . many thank in advance ......
 
If you're not into feed hunting, then you could get a Dreambox and a V-Box to convert the DiseqC commands to 36v.

Whatever you choose will depend on what your viewing preferences are. :)
 
Whilst a 'cheap' Technomate is a very good option, some V boxes cost almost as much as the receiver. Bit annoying really.
 
Yes, but not surprising, as they have more expensive hardware, not just a low power motherboard and cheap chip. ;)

Good point although I've yet to get any channels on a V-Box.:-rofl2

I was in the same position last week, the Horizontal to Verticle switching went, so visited Ebay and got a replacement, the AD3000IP's go for £50-£80 on there.
