No pets here - I dont really like animals. :D

Ive often thought a housebrick is my ideal pet - dont need walking, doesnt make a mess, and useful in any number of minor emergencies :-rofl2

The dog I had before Fozzie. He had to be put to sleep as he's had cancer. Some 4 years ago.

Ouch! You´ve all seen the Oscar, my avitar, died six years ago due to leukemia, lost Billy Wizz to the road about a month ago. Oscar is with me for ever, as is Wizz.

No, thankfully they didn't. Eventually we decreased the GP herd significantly by rehoming and after my wife passed away in 2009 the remaining few shuffled off through natural causes. I've located one or two photo's of the animals here at present....The dogs are Tzigane and Toto and the grey cat is Kipenzi...I have other photos but they need resizing...

At the moment I have 2 cats taken in by me as kittens when a stoopid neighbour introduced a pit bull to the house ..
The kittens were then too scared to go home and were in danger of turning feral..
They are called George and Peppa after the childrens cartoon characters..
No I didnt name them.
but they are brother and sister ...and clearly love each other ..

In the past Ive had 2 cats Gemma and Peggy ...
Mother and daughter...they lived to 21 and 19 respectively and both died at home ..
Peggys heart gave out in my arms ..old age catching up with both of them.
Ive personally had a dog called Dizzy ...a border collie mongrel..
Dead smart ..very street wise...and very affectionate ..
He would allow Gemma and Peggy to curl up with him ...but whinged like a child when they lay accross his neck like scarves ..which they often did..
He was my best friend for many years ...having got him from a rescue home..
Died of heart failure in old age ...but was clearly older than the 22 years I had him..
Now buried under my dads fruit trees behind my house.
I once gave Dizzy the kiss of life in his last years ...when out for a walk collapsed on the lead...and stopped breathing ...
I brought him round and he lived another 18 months after that on expensive pills from the vet.
There have been many dogs in our family as I was growing up ..

Lady another collie mongrel who always knew when someone was ill ...
Suzy ..
Bobby
Sammy
Shaney
to name a few more..
Do I like animals ..
?

...Love 'em
:)

Just the odd resident spider here, nothing else oh apart from the mice who come and go as they please until they gratefully accept death by trap

Would love a dog, but garden is too small and I'm out all day, plus often weekends. Have to make do with my sister's dog in France, I spend several weeks a year there and spend a lot of time walking her, often for several hour trips. She's a Beauceron, has a lovely temperament, but is a bit daft. :)

Presently two cats, Dave (pale ginger british shorthair) and my Spud (bog standard black moggie), we did have three up until New years Day when Millae (my late brother's cat) passed away at the age of around 16 or 17, no plans for any more cats at the moment though... :)

Ive often thought a housebrick is my ideal pet - dont need walking, doesnt make a mess, and useful in any number of minor emergencies :-rofl2

So, you love your brick? :D

You clearly deserve a pat on the back. For the kiss of life. That something I can also say I had to do with my dog solo. He used to collapse, and stop breathing. In the end I had to have him put to sleep.

Some of that was due to the vet neglect! And this was proven by the RCVS!

My current dog was rescued from a local place, thanks to the rspca and the law courts the so called "breeder" is now serving a sentence at her majesty's pleasure for her neglect and dam right dirty conditions.

She was also claiming high rate DLA ect saying she can't walk.

Yet some of the photos I have clearly show her running in front of her horse!

The magistrate said that he had been serving on the branch for over 30 years, and this case was the worst he had ever seen.
