Hey :)

I thought I saw a post somewhere (or a link to a URL) with a list of what satellites, and I guess more importantly what was viewable on those satellites, using a 60cm/88cm/1m/1.2m dish from the UK.

I am trying to gauge what benefit I would get by getting a bigger dish; I think I get 1016 TV channels on Hotbird using 60cm ... Not a lot from anything > 30E, some on 10E, quite a few on 1W etc

Ta.

Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.
My Location
Berkshire
Unfortunately, the UK is too general location to provide a definitive list, as the channels available will vary for different parts of the country and depend on the individual satellite's footprint.

As rolfw says the UK isto big an are to give a true answer.
Just work on the fact that the bigger the dish the better the signal it will pick up, but also remember that if you have not got a clear line of sight to the sat you require your chances of finding a good signal are not good
