What size of dish can I use here?

Hi All

I'm near Belfast, Northern Ireland which is roughly on the same latitude as Middlesborough and Newcastle, but much further West. Can I use a 60cm dish for Hotbird or do I need an 80cm?

Has anyone near me got a 60cm operating at the moment, how's the quality?

Also is there any big difference between solid and mesh dishes receptionwise?

I would use an 80cm, as a 60cm may experience a tad of dropout in bad weather, but if you already have the 60cm, why not give it a try. A good solid dish will normally be slightly better than a mesh dish, but there are many cheap solids which perform no better whatsoever.
