sounds like you should be able to but i would think you may need a card in the machine with an irderto or nag file on it
dear wolfave... do you think any card with a chip insert can solve the problem as the decoder might just need a link to pass on the FTA channel for display... because i tuned channels and i got the channels... the only problem is that it say 'please inser your nagravision card'... so do you think any card with a chip on it will solve the problem... seeking your reply... and thank you for your earlier and upcoming reply...

i dont know much about your system but there are nagra files for fun cards ithink or 6in1 files that you could try what satelite are you pointing at ?
You need a card that will emulate a nagra card even if the keys are out of date to receive the fta channels.I had a Dutch Goldbox that sounds similar in that it would`nt work without a Seca card.(Seca box).
It could probably be flashed if you can find the files.
Doubt a fun card 6 in 1 will work as they are normally for modded receivers.
