All pointers suggest it is available only on google Chrome, which makes sense, but when loading it just hangs at 80%.

Does anyone else have the same issue ?

??? I had no problems putting it on my new hard drive (old one took a poop yesterday) downloaded just fine to a W7 OS.

You should down load Google Earth Pro as it's free now, you will have to look at the download web site to get the free key to unlock it.

Perhaps I got it wrong. I used to have the programe installed, then deleted it a few weeks back under the impression it could be accessed in the browser (Firefox). Today I tried and got to the loading page thus.
