For educational purposes, if you have ever wondered what is inside those flat cables usually used to get a signal through a window or door, here is a photo.

without the rare dielectric gas sealed inside during production, it won't work as well. Did you capture it when splitting the outer cover ?

This will not go into use, just curious as to what was inside.

Not quite sure how one of those would work?
 
You need to capture the gas from the original and analyse it.

Slightly lighter than air so some could remain near ceiling height.

I wouldn't consider valent ascendancy cabling unless your house has a near perfect atmospheric seal between 10 and 40m above sea level.
