Advice Needed What's it Worth

Not sure of the size and how old is it?
 
It really depends how much you want it imho, if its a 1.8 your talking over a thousand pound for the set up from SSS, if you was going to buy one new anyway 5/600 pounds not out of the way, obviously £300 or cheaper would be better,

I tend to wait for the bargains and get in before others have time to think.
 
When i was up on outbuilding it is mounted on tape measure from top to bottom was just around the 2.3m mark so i am assuming its a 2.2m, was previously used for Bein Sport reception on 7° west at some point

They advertise it as a 2.3
Primesat 1.8m prime focus satellite dish. Aluminium prime focus dish with feedhorn and LNB.,

If you can find the right person its worth £700/800 imho, if its cheaper it might go quicker, we all want a big dish but scared of throwing money away to have it sitting there due to planning, if its cheap some one will buy it and take a gamble/stuck it in the shed just to say they have one.

Yes, that DH 2.4 was in your back garden before most folks had thought about putting in a bid. You have to move fast on these top class antenna on the rare occasions that they become available, no point sitting on the throne curling a brown one down thinking about it.

The value increases if it is a 2.2m, second hand including the ground stand and Az/El mount I personally would want it in the bag for £400 or less. Its a nice dish and looks in good condition, it should sell easily enough if priced correctly.

Yes it is for sale but as it is not my dish its a customer that i have recently done some work for i will have to find out what kind of price they want for it all.

Should probably know sometime this week, Just gauging the price quotations before i give them a realistic value on what its worth as i would rather see a member from here bag it and get some use out of it instead of the usual Fleabay route
 
Looking on SSS the dish is £1559.95 and the stand is £599.95, obviously its up to the owner what he lets it go for at the end of the day.

Depending on where the dish is located I would be interested in it, but without a polar mount I wouldn't want to pay too much.

The Dish is Located near Failsworth Manchester, it is still fully assembled but seeing as its a customer of mine i am willing to give any potential buyer a lift to dismantle it.

I will have a word with the owner and see how much they originally paid and then give them the estimates that you guys have provided, I will let you know

What sort of condition is the dish in? Are there any dents or dings in the reflector parabolic profile?

My neighbour reported me for a small 1,2 so I put a 2.4 on a movable base, no planning needed, that will teach them they might think twice next time they want to try and spoil someone's hobby.
