Anyone got any channels or tps to go for out past 53E/30W in the UK in Ku?

57E should be in range but past there is terra incognito. I do have some hills so 68E is out of range but I have no idea what my actual limits are going to be yet.

Going the other way doesnt look very exciting but I may as well have a go whilst Ive got a cracking view out that way

Hi -
Yes Duhok TV at 57 E is worth a try
No problem here in the past on 1.2 c.m.
11044 V
DVB-S2/QPSK
MPEG-4
1774 3/4
Duhok TV

Ive had Duhok years ago before I moved house on an offset lnb on the 80 aimed at 53E, but that was back before it switched to DVB-S2

Last time I looked, I got solid locks on the Televisa package on 11557H on Intelsat 35 at 34.5W with the TD110 & various Rx's - all encrypted of course though.

I am sure William1's best transponder list can tell you more.

I still get China Radio at 45 West. Not for long though once the Ash trees get going.
45 West.
11605 H 989 2/3.

Nothing much past 34.5 west nearly all data streams here now.
Atlantic - LyngSat

I remember that part of the arc used to be very active with FTA sports feeds & TV,
Eurosport was FTA @ 8 west,Cricket @ 58 west,various sports & news feeds @ 37.5 west,
Even the more recent west satellites feed hot spots have virtually gone now 12.5 west & 24.5 west as these satellites are now at end of life & have not been replaced ATM :(

Yes Ive logged Televisa here on 34.5W. Forgotten that one as I havent got an lnb set up on there atm.

I use william-1's lists quite regularly when setting up lnb's, but it doesnt go out into the boonies. The problem with the far east birds is most of the new ones have multiple spot beams and few folk seem to bother with them to see whats possible.

Just had a look here tonight ... still a strong signal - coming in at 9.8 - 10.0 db on 1.2 c.m. ...... will lock and display without freezing on DR HD F15 receiver from 4.5 db .
