What's the latest on LNBs ?

My Satellite Setup
ITSarria LTE Internet, 2 X SKY HD, Invacom C120 quad LNB, Raven 2.4m offset dish, TDT (Spanish freeview)

I set my system up about four years ago. I have a Channel Master 2.4 m offset dish and originally bought an Invacom 1.2 db LNB (quad) for it. The results were not brilliant, but a local satellite installer switched the LNB for an MTI Blueline (I think that is what it is called) and things have been pretty good ever since (still lose BBC and some other 2D channels in the evenings though).

I now really need to move on. I want to add more receivers and share the dish with my neighbours. I am reluctant to use a multi-switch because I believe it will degrade my signal.

Can anyone in the the know post the latest on LNBs for the fringe, including info about LNBs with 8 outputs. My Thomson HD receiver is brillient, but any info about receiver sensitivity will also be happily received.

All the forums seem to have been quiet on this for ages!

Any LNB with 8 outputs, already contains 4X8 multiswitch inside, so you won't gain anything....

I see. So I guess my question is "what is the best 8 output LNB OR multi-switch for the fringe. And , if its a switch, what is the best quattro LNB to pair it with these days?"
 
So guys. My thread has been hanging a round for 2 weeks with no significant info.!

Are you seriously telling me there has been no advancement in LNB technology in the last four years?
 
Spaun 5/8 switch, Invacom quatro (C120 flange), Channel Master feed horn.

I know it doesn't apply here but I have had much more luck with single port 40mm flange LNB's for Astra 2D, such as the Inverto Black Ultra.
