whats the modulation on a 422 feed please

trying to search for 422 feeds on 7e using prog dvb could anyone tell me what the modulation is to put i please,and do i tick the dvb-s2 and pilot box please.thanks

Chroma subsampling is the practice of encoding images by implementing less resolution for chroma information than for luma information. It is used in many video encoding schemes—both analog and digital—and also in JPEG encoding.

The subsampling scheme is commonly expressed as a three part ratio (e.g. 4:2:2)

It have no rerlation with satellite signal modulation. It can be used with either QPSK or 8PSK. For viewing 4:2:2 signal, you need a good codes like nero. It will support 4:2:2. Some days ago, I saw several feeds from Asiasat 100E. Many of then are in 4:2:2. You can view it clearly on SS2 with good codec.
