Whats up with 11642 on EB1 (True Movies, etc)? Plenty of signal, but full of errors. All other transponders seem fine.

cannot see any viewing problems here mate...all pictures and sound OK no pixelation even OK on my 80cm...
Rememeber that freq is DECT phone sensitive....Chart Show on the same frequency does adverts saying "move DECT" phones away...not just DECT phones, but wireless routers also cause problems with this frequency

Can't see anything wrong with it here. Its not your DECT phone is it? The IF is right in the middle of the DECT band.

I have been to many customers and proved it by unpugging the cordless phone. Moving it across the room sometimes is not enough.
On another note I found out that our wireless A/V sender stops an Ipod touch connecting with my wireless router.

It's cleared up now. Very strange. Yes there are DECT phones here but I haven't touched anything and it's back to normal. Phone base is about 1metre from the satellite receiver. Do DECT phones turn their power up and down in a similar way to GSM?

I've only ever seen it there or not on those band of frequencies.

Yeah, next transponder up and down are fine. On this transponder I'm getting better than 12dB MER, but lots of uncorrected block errors. So it probably is local interferance.

How about the similarly DECT prone high band TP 12480 MHz (Channel 4 London, Kiss, Kerrang etc)?
