With all the card swops thats happened so far, leaving Digi as the last 'big one' What do you think will be the next trend to evolve?

Could Duolabs produce another cam to replace the trusty Diablo, or could it be a super new age eprom card to rise from the dark ashes?

i thought there was a diablo cam 2 coming out as its been mentioned on forums and duolabs site ?

The Diablo 2 cam is already available but as of yet the file that will open the new channels has not been released.

I bought the new Diablo 2 a couple of weeks ago, as my old one is getting somewhat threadbare swopping it between receivers.

I was hoping it would take the underworld files, but the file type is not compatible. So it's sitting on my desk hopefully waiting any third-party software that might appear (supposed to be before Xmas).

There is some software available for reading various cards.

Possibly. Only have a Sly card Wavey. Just received my new CAS3+ (my CAS2 doesn't recognise the Diablo 2) so I'll see if it reads that OK.

llew have you updated to cas studio 3.7 as that has diablo 2 in it

the files used on diablo 2 are different using d2u extension or something like that

yes new software for it called transformers i think coming out 14th dec, i heard

The new Diablo 2 icon in that was blanked out when connecting the Diablo in my CAS2. I believe CAS 2+ works OK though.

The transformer software has been available since just after the Diablo 2 appeared. A new version will read HD+ cards for the German HD+ channels on Astra 19E. Don't know if it'll work in legacy HD boxes.

What we need is the brains, no new "cheap" cards.

Nowdays all " updates" need new and fresh cards/updates.

We all need the real thing.... a way to crack those heavy regarded files.

If there is a "new" card I can promise You that it will work for a while and then it need an "update"
