When Buying A Receiver With Viaccess ?

Does that mean it supports Viaccees 1 and 2? Many cards like Art Blue cards say Viacess 2 required and some just say viaccess required. So could someone tell me how it works with receivers today.Does a receiver with viaccess support cards that need viaccess 2 ? And what is the difference between viaccess and viaccess 2 ?

Sorry if that was a bit long winded just find it all a bit confusing.

Two opinions expressed. I think you'll be ok with any viacccess receiver, others disagree.

for what channels are you considering to buy such a rec???
it is almost everything open that comes in viaccess.....
