Hi

Iceman and bignick (amoung others) have mentioned using a largefeed horn for large prime focus dishes combined with the Invacom C120 quad LNB. bignick posted comparison photographs on a thread about a year ago on Channel 4 reception.

It would seem that these feedhorns are common in Cyprus, but I cannot find a supplier on a Google search. I already have a 2.4m dish and am looking at buying a 3.7m replacement so it may just give me the odd fraction of a db improvement that I need for Astra 2D.

Can anyone give me some more information please?

hy my friend
ask to coviello
that buy this feed from them

but in your case
i dont think that is an illuminator problem
you can gain something with that feed

but you need more gain from the dish
that your 2.40 probably dont give to you

the fact that in UMBRIA someone
can get 2D with 1,8 m iis so strange
because i am 70 km more east of UMBRIA
and i need 3,7 meter

or is a strange sidelobe from the sat
or is impossible that 70 km more east the satellite
give the double of power

u know!!!!!:)
ciao

have u think to install

a SLING BOX for them ??????? ( to receive it from Tel . Line )

is not more economic and more simple
for you?????

I would like to help, but unfortunately I am back in the UK for the forseeable future. This is the people that supply them:
Future Sat.
e-mail futuresat at cytanet.com.cy

Now that they have the euro it might be quite easy for them to send one to you. They are called the Large Adjustable Feedhorn. I would perhaps advise that you ask for the "Famaval feedhorn holder" that it fits into as well, just in case the one with your dish isn't compatable. They speak English pretty well.

Cheers

Nick
