Where to download images

My Satellite Setup
Orbital 80cm Dish,
Inverto 'Black Series' 0.2dB Twin LNB,
Moteck DiSEqC 1.2 motor,
Dreambox 500s

Hi I am new to the forum and this is my first post, I have done loads of reading and to begin with I am going to try a 500s with a standard minidish.
I have read the idiots guide but it does not mention where I can download the images, I am alos guessing that the images should allow me to download ccams and newcs from the menu.

You can download Gemini from i-have-a-dreambox.com

If your box is a clone be sure to download an old image otherwise it will brick your receiver. Pre 4.3 is OK I think (lool at some of the old threads in the 500 section to confirm this).

Google may find you other websites to download other images or the search facility on this forum.
 
Since my box is from china it is defo a clone unless I can find the elusive gemini 4.6 with the timebomb, what other images are good Pli, Nabilosat ?

Nabilo Darkstar for the 500 is no longer in development being an enigma 1 image but its a very good image and is 'clone safe'. You can download it from Nabilosat forum.
