I am from South Australia and would like to setup my first satellite dish for some KU band channels. But, the thing is, the channels are encrypted with Irdeto 2 encryption. Can someone tell me what I need to decrypt and watch these channels? I know that I'd need a cam slot that support Irdeto 2 system as well as a subscription card. But the thing is, where can I get them? Is there a card that I can buy online and will decrypt the channels?

All depends on which sat provider interests you. you can get a good deal on select tv witch there is no contract & you pqy $30 for the smart card & $29.95 per month for twenty english channels or you can call foxtel or ubi or any other service for full details.

Well maybe you can help me.
I live in SE Asia and have the equipent to recieve South African Multi Choise Intelsat 10 @ 68.5 E.
My problem is getting a legal smart card here. I've looked everywhere and yet I can't find a site to legally purchace a years subscription.
Any opinions?:)
