Our new Samsung TV has come with a surprise option, it has a built in sat tuner and it all supports 4K so I've been able to view the demos on 28E. Not only that but it has good support on the satellite input including diseqc motor control so I'm going to loop it through my G-Box. At the moment this is connected to the 1.2m with stand alone control from the remote and connected to the Prof card up here.
This means I'm going to need a new LNB, I'm currently using an Inverto Black Ultra single but do I go for a dual or quad output IBU, how does each of them compare to the single for performance?
There is one quirk with the TV, you can select either satellite or terrestrial tuner on initial set up, after that you're locked to the option chosen and there's no way of adding the other input after the set up, must of been too much trouble for the software engineers to write the code!
