Hi all
I am getting a 3m offset dish (Polish made I think) - so what is the best option for 28.2?
Feed horn/no feed horn
quad/quatro
The type of LNB will dictate the type of multi-switch (need 10 feeds)

anyone used a Inverto MultiConnect System? could I use one (but want 28.3 to be the prime sat)

p.s. I live in Tenerife, and NO I don't have room for a 10m dish!
 
Since you need 10 feeds to a multiswitch, you need a quattro Lnb.

If there is a specific feedhorn for your dish try that, else an lnbf eg the black ultra quattro.

I don't think that the multiconnect system would be a good idea, since you need to get maximum signal on 28, and the multiconnect lnbs are reported to give a weaker signal.

Constructing your own Lnb brackets for offsets should be ok though, but supports for the main Lnb arm can block the lnbs for some sats.
 
Which multiswitch are you planning on using? Some multiswitches will support both Quad and Quattro LNBs. This would then mean that you could use the Inverto Black Ultra Quad.

Ok, just to confirm intentions then.

You want 28E - yes? How important are any other satellites? If you could only set up for 28E would that be OK?

If you definitely want to set up for other satellites, which ones? Would they be on a multi LNB arm on the 3M dish? Or would/could they be on a separate dish?

If you ARE going down the multi satellite route would you want them all to be available on the 10 separate room feeds with 28E? Or are you just wanting them in one room?
 
28.2 on it's own is fine, I can sort the other dishes out with disecq switches
 
i am at this time converting a complex to digital for bbc1 etc using a 3m dish,happy to chat its in los gigantes tenerife

No need for Multi-Connect LNBs on a 3 meter dish. Using regular LNBs 1º spacing is possible.
 
I cannot recommend Invacom LNB´s enough. I´ve never seen any better ones around. You pay more but its worth it.
 
they are on a 3m channel master that is in a complex that i am upgrading - seem very good on weak channels
