Which other parts do I need for full setup?

Hi,

ok decided to go fo the VU+ Duo after looking at other boxes spiderbox 9000HD, dreambox 800HD etc. Think I've gone for the correct one. Now as I want a motorised system what else do I need.

Can someone recommend a good place to get the motor and dish from? And if there are good ones to get and some to avoid. As for dish I'm not sure what size I need. I'm based in Manchester....

Also for the VU+ Duo do I need more than one LNB or more than one cale coming from the dish to the box? As I know is a double tuner?

First work out where you will need to site your dish, in order to get a clear line of sight of all the satellites available, you want at least to be able to get from 42E to 30W.
You are allowed upto a 1 Metre dish, in most parts of the country, without having to apply for planning permission.
Get a twin LNB with your motorized dish, this will allow two cables to be run to your VU+ Duo allowing you to record one channel and view something different.
 
personally if you are motorising your system nothing less than a 1 mtr would suffice, if you want a choice of satellites especially football , as said above you need to see where you can install your equipment on your premisess, and your budget as to what you install.

Mounting a 1.2 metre oval dish has worked well for me over the years!
