Hello, just looking for a basic receiver to be used only to move the motor (probably TM-2600M3) and the 120cm dish.

I used to have a clarke tech 2100+ which worked very well to move my stab hh 120, but I don't have any of those any longer.

Any suggestions? For watching the transmissions I will be using my skystar HD2 pc card with dvbviewer pro, so only need the receiver to move the dish.

OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

any receiver with at least a 500 mA DC current output and Diseqc commands to move the motor. (most HtoH motors need at least 300 to 350 mA at 13 volts DC or more to run)

Does the HD2 pc card have a spec on it's DC current output and anything in it's menu as to motor settings?

I have read a few times that it was a bit tricky to set up the pc to move the dish (potencial power issues), so I have never investigated it. I guess a simple second hand receiver would do the job, so maybe easier. Clarke tech 2100 plus was very suitable because it was particularly easy to use, so just asking around, maybe there are other receivers like that.

What about the Amiko HD8155?

I have heard it also opens dvbs2 422 transmissions. Can anyone confirm it could be good for both things?
