Which receiver to buy?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a receiver for a single dish pointing to hotbird. There are lots of receivers out there... can someone please make a recommendation on the make (Dreambox, Dreambox Clone, Darkbox, Eagle, or Technomate)

Depends completely on what you are wanting to do with the stb, what is your intension, SD?HD? card sharing? FTA?
 
If it is just FTA, go for a Technomate, very easy to use and setup, well organised menu structure and will also record with the addition of a USB HDD if you get a 5200 for example.
