Which shop, be it trade or otherwise have you found that the products are consistently poor?

It seems that whenever I buy anything at Wilkinson I always regret it :-DOH2

I bought 12 spotlight lamps last week which 5 blew in as many days and I took them back for a refund. Also bought a broom that lost its strands, a silicone gun that broke and weedkiller that did not kill the weeds.

Need to stop being a cheapskate and shop elsewhere!:)

Never had a problem with Wilkinsons.

Plant pots (and seeds) about a third of B+Q pricing
Cheapest toothpaste/shampoo round here.
Good pricing on coffee cafetieres.
And about the only place that still does home brew beer kits.

Not a bad word to say about them.

Sorry Hoggy, don't agree ....Wilko is great imho. Perhaps spots isn't a good example and there may be some environmental issue causing problems. I have quite a few spots and maybe replace 1 GU10 every 2 months. My neighbour across the road (identical house) has to replace 3 per month

Never heard of them I'm afraid.:)

A favourite for 'No Nails adhesive', half the price. Plugs, extensions leads, fuses all fairly cheap as chips.

Tesco in Thirsk.

The "fresh" Produce is either notable by its absence or is chilled rigid.

Oh, and they have these weird "Customer Service" persons (Just a subtle acknowledgement that Harriet is in charge at the moment ..........) wearing headsets that make them look like Cybermen and to whom the very last thing on their minds is actually facilitating the "Customer Experience"
