My Location
working in staffs moorlands
can i get some good satalite coax cable from my local eletrical center or is it ok to get cheap stuff from wilko which is ok for uhf and fm and tv. i have that at the moment is it best to go for satalite coax and would that improve my picture qualty and sound. or should i stick to uhf,fm&tv coax.

My Satellite Setup
Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

Depends on what you are using it for Pov, you should always use double screened sat cable for satellite installations, Alisat is OK, but better to get CT100 or WF100 with a copper foil screen.

I believe that B&Q now sell reasonable stuff, but you could look in the yellow pages for your local satellite wholesaler and they will sell you a length or reel.

I use double screen for Terrestrial aerial installations as well.
