Apart from the TBS5925 which is so expensive are there any other USB sat receivers which have the same options ie CCM, VCM,ACM and Multi Input Stream Support ?

Even if the TBS5925 wasn't so expensive I still wouldn't recommend it! Driver quality is awful (blue screen not unusual!) Supplied TBS software is poor. The TBS5925 also gets hot and like the 6925 (PCI-E version) they tend to develop faults over time and stop working on certain broadcast types. Finally as I found out they have no LNB short-circuit protection...

Hmm is it really that bad ? What OS are you using with it ? My Prof 7500 USB never exhibits any of thes problems, it has never let me down but I realize is a bit limited nowadays so wanted to upgrade to a 5925, perhaps I best save my money then

How much did this cost? I am interested in the USB sat-card because I can pass-through USB devices to a virtual Windows environment under Mac. Something I cannot do with PCIe cards.
