Well, for a start, both of us are! Been like this for so long now that we've forgotten what "warm weather" is even like!

What's it like for you?

Absolutely spiffing :Y

still wearing my overalls at work:cool: might take them off if it gets past 35deg

sipping water regularly been going through 2 to 3 litres a day at work , without being too graphic my out goings are clear so i take that as a good sign!

Good weather for 'communing with nature' in the garden.

I haven't frightened the neighbours yet as far as I'm aware (if you get my meaning...) :D

Sadly mine aren't and the Quack wants to see me to discuss protein found in my "outgoings".

I suspect the anomaly is due to dehydration rather than disease, but further emissions into a bottle are required.

"Oh yes you have ......"

Loving this warm weather - I can get away with wearing shorts at work instead of my heavy work trousers. :D

I'm not concerned too much with the heat, but the past couple of days have brought on an increase in mosquitos in here
I can't sleep well with the noise of the fan / air conditioner so the hatch to the bedroom that gives access to the roof stays open. But that brings in the buggers. I'm going to try a net tonight, hanging from the drop down ladder to see if that helps but I fear it does not clear the bed corners and I'll have more pock marks than usual.

Somebody needs to invent a sensor and relatively useful laser system that scans the room, maiming the bastards by clipping their wings as they move towards ther prey.

Another ruddy Northerner - Nice if you have a/c at work! - but which most of us don't have at home

The only folk not enjoying this fine weather are the big five energy companies executives, and they can get it "right round them" as the saying goes here.

I have to say that I don't think that can be true - just seen the BeeB news, and the farmers are suffering badly -> no rain = dairy farmers say there is no grass for the cows and so they have to be fed the food that was being kept for the Winter, and the crop farmers are seeing much reduced crop yields. Nett result would seem to be less food and higher prices for US in the medium-long term.

Sadly, the previously revered Beeb no longer seems unduly troubled by facts.

I have spent many outraged minutes shrieking in righteous indignation at appalling "reporting" on various issues today.

Sadly, again, I have to disagree - those farmers on the Beeb reports appeared to genuinely be in distressing circumstances.

Loving it - this is what summers should be like. We have a portable aircon, which gets moved from room to room depending on need (in my room/man cave/office during the day and bedroom at night). Next year, I will likely get a proper split-system one...

Even sadder was the main protagonist's unqualified and outrageous conflation of "global warming" and human initiated greenhouse gas emissions (whilst at the same time utterly failing to acknowledge the significant contribution farming makes to that very contentious issue)
