Why am I only getting Turkish channels?

Hello,
I'm new to satellite installation and would appreciate any help.

I installed a FREESAT system for my parents at their (static) caravan and everything worked fine for the first year.

When we came back to it this year the Dish had come loose (LNB arm resting on floor). I fixed it up again but now can only get Turkish channels.
The reciever is a Fortec Star FS-400 part of a bundle bought from maplins with a large dish.

I have spent several days trying to get this back working but all we ever get is loads of Turkish channels. I have reset the receiver back to the factory default and then done a search for Astra 2A,2B,2D it claims to find lots of settings (for the ASTRA 2A to "D) and confirms they are OK but all the channels are Turkish:mad:

I have rechecked the dish alignment and also compared it to other caravans nearby, using a signal meter I have tried different highspots all in the similar area but I always get the same results. The LNB might have got a bad knock when the dish came loose but it picks up the turkish channels perfectly.

I'm probably making a very simple mistake, but I don't know what it is, can anyone help? please.
 
Which means you need to move the Dish a few degrees back towards the West and probably up a tiny, tiny bit.
 
How many Turkish channels out of interest and what are they?

Might give an indication as to which of the two above satellite you've accidentally locked onto.
 
hello, if yiu are receiving a lot of turkish tthe system for tv in england
i would say you are probally on 42 east turksat.
looking at the back if the dish you will have to move about 3 or 4 inches to the right.
best bet would to take the receiver to a friend, erase all the turk channels and reload the uk channels you want to pick up for free.
once you have a working receiver on free view 28 east then go back to the caravan and if the box has a signal meter with a sig strenth and quality built in you can move the dish to the right untill you get a good quality.
do not research the system of it will reload the turkish channels again.
all boxes have a memory and should not loose it untill you use the search mode.
this should work ok unless you have some friend with a spectrum analizer.
