In my original thread - which (presumably) yourself has now locked! - I asked why the linked thread had been locked, and it definitely WAS when I posted that original thread - but you (presumably) then unlocked the linked thread and blocked mine and so I could not reply to your question, and thus why I had to start this new one in order to actually reply!
So, my original question is still unanswered - i.e. why block the linked thread in the first place because I can't conceivably find a reason?
