"Why doesn't my dish work?"

57E to 58W, C-band and Ku, DVB-S2, 4:2:2 and blindscan.
My Location
38.5ºN, 0.5ºW
Having a cable plugged in to the LNB usually helps, but not if you've installed your dish with a palm tree directly in front of it.

I'm not frond of installations like that ......................
 
She says it slowly got worse and then stopped completely. There was a second dish on Nilesat via a DiSEqC 1.0 so I suppose that's feasible. I think the final nail in the coffin was the DiSEqC switch failing, cutting off any remaining channels from 7W.
 
Can't you move the dish elsewhere?

huevos,i take it as part of your kit you have a a rope and spikes on your shoes to help go up the palm tees?
