Why is my Dreambox doing this??

After many hrs trying to figure out why my TV is going black every few seconds (audio still ok) I found out what is causing it, but fixing it is way out of my league. Hey, all you guys were newbies once.

Dreambox 500s, cccam 2.0.7, Gemini, apstar 5 and 6 sats(I have 2 LNB's), no card

When I watch any channel on either LNB, every several seconds my picture goes black for about 1 sec and then it restores. The sound always works. This happens when I watch a channel with a resolution of 720 X 576 or 704 X 576.

When I watch a channel with a resolution of 720 X 480 or 544 X 480 it works without any blackouts.

Therefore I assume this has something with cccam's decoding of the video stream. Maybe my assumption is wrong, but bear in mind I am a complete newbie with this box (it is brand new). How can I fix this??? Please give me details so I can do it step by step. Somebody make me a happy camper!

No. I don't even have a card. Keys come from a server in China (where I live now). I use 1 box connected to 1 TV.
 
That is card sharing, there will be cards for the packages you are watching on a central server.

The keys arent updating fast enough when they change. That can be caused by an overloaded card server, slow internet access at your end, or the cards being too many hops down the line.

How can I find out what server my box has been set up for?
How can I test to check hops and server speed?
I do have Visualroute software. WIll this work?
 
You can read the number of hops in your config file CCcam.cfg

CCcamInfo plugin can show you some extended info.

If the server is overloaded there is nothing you can do about it.
 
Thank you all for the feedback, but I discovered something else that was causing this problem. I wanted to post my fix so you all can also be aware of this should someone else have this problem.
Actually the problem has only to do with the Dreambox streaming vid out into my Dennon AVR amp. Something about the vid signal stream that my AVR did not like and caused it to not process the signal to my TV correctly. Therefore my TV kept receiving bad vid stream from my AVR causing my TV to "black out" repeatedly.
My fix was to output Dreambox vid out directly to the TV (AV1) input. This eliminated all problems! I still process the sound through my AVR.

Well I must admit I was puzzled as to how changing the resolution had previously overcome the problem, but presumably the AVR amp was not designed to accommodate that particular resolution
