I was wondering. With many of us spending thousands of Pounds/Euros on our dishes and cables and sat boxes etc, why is there no super LNBs. I mean we are all fitting LNBs from about 3 pounds to 100 pounds. I am sure if there was a super LNB 200 to 500 pounds, many of us would buy it if it guaranteed better fringe reception. You know extremely well made, maybe with some form of cooling system to reduce noise. I mean that clever German chap in Brazil, I am sure he would spent thousands on an LNB that would get his beloved channels.:confused

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

You need to read up on link budget calculations.

No LNB will make a magical difference once all the other factors have been optimised.
