Well, it was launched at least, everything went OK, but since then, we hear no information about it. For example, shortly after entering the orbit, THOR satellite was shown up on lyngsat and flysat as empty one, including changing orbital positions. Currently, 3B is set steady at 31.21E, according to n2yo website: _ttp://www.n2yo.com/?s=36581 and seems to not going to change position shortly. Is everything OK with it or there are some problems?

It is probably still being tested.

It has a new cross transponder switching system so I expect it may take longer to test than most satellites. The intension was to use it with world cup feeds but it is too late for that.

Flysat already reports 2 empty ANALOGUE carriers on it already :)

It will not be long before there are DVB transmissions. :)

According to the SES website they intend to have it working commercially this month. So it might be used for some of the World Cup traffic after all.
