Will ITV & C4 Ever Go FTA?

The reason I ask is that my terrestrial reception is very poor even on analogue never mind Freeview which is out of the question. I dont want to have to subscribe to SKY purely just to get ITV, Channel Four and C5 (I understand the BBC are fta already). If the remaining "terrestrial" channels go fta it would solve my problem.

Only thing I can suggest is to write to your local MP and also the Department of Culture Goffy, they may be able to put pressure on Channel 4 to re-open the FTV card scheme. Otherwise, there are few signs of any of the terrestrial broadcasters going FTA for the next two or three years.
