Hi.. hoping someone might be able to help

We have shipped over a motorhome fitted with a winegard MV-3500 Movin view satellite dish.. Obviously it is currently trying to pick up US DirectTV satellites or the like..

I need it to connect to Astra 2D satellite to pick up sky digital here in the UK.. is this possible or not?.. if so does anyone know of engineers who might be able to make the retro fit install..

if not can anyone suggest a good moving view satellite dish compatible with sky digital...

thanks

It has an automatic signal acquisition system set by dip switches inside the unit. Its almost certainly not programmable for 28E :D

Youre best bet is to contact the manufacturers to see if its possible.

The lnb inside the cover will also need changing - most of the American satellites use circular polarisation - Europe uses linear polarity.

From the last page

• Depending on receiver type, you can access
satellites 119°, 110°, 101° or 92°.

I'll give you 30 quid for it if you can drop it off here.

thanks for the replys...I figured the lnb would need changing, was more concerned about the electronics to pick up the satellite location... i've emailed winegard hopefully someone will get back to me.. i phoned someone who suggested this might be possible.
